Palm Sunday 2017

Morsels & Stories: I talked about the anti-semitism that some of the Good Friday rubrics are responding to.  I used some of the suggestions in Amy Jill Levine’s The Misunderstood Jew.

Sermon: There were two parades entering Jerusalem that day.  And a whole other group of people plotting and scheming.  How do we understand where the post-Christendom Church can best read ourselves into this story?

The lessons can be found by clicking here.  I worked most closely with Matthew 27:11-54.
