Questions, Easter 2 2020

Questioning Thomas

I’m a solo rector, and have been for most of my ordained life, so usually I don’t preach on Easter 2 because we do a service of readings and hymns.  Both so that I get a bit of break and it’s a lovely service that gives us a chance to sing all the alleluias. However, that’s way too many hymns in an era where we haven’t figured out communal singing (easily) for online worship.  Which, means that for the first time in 6 years I preached on Thomas.  Whom I love and have missed preaching on.

I worked most closely with John 20.19-31.
