For perhaps the better, I didn’t think of it this way until after Church, but this could be the story of Jesus approving of side quests. (If that doesn’t make sense, that’s why it’s probably for the best.
I love this story. Admittedly, I love most stories in the Bible, but this is probably top 5. But I didn’t know how to preach on it until I’d spent a lot of time with the recent news. Here’s what I said:
